I’m a proud conspiracy nut. Why would I be anything else?
Why would I choose to believe in a crazy theory like Randomness.
All across the globe from time immemorial, oligarchies have conspired to control and dominate their governments and leadership.
Why wouldn’t they? They have much to lose, and they are living pretty good.
So they do cospire.
So why shouldn’t I believe that our government would do that?
And why should I believe in the Forest Gump theory – the theory of randomness – that Fred Flintsone type characters randomly show up to commit major political crimes?
II seems more rational to believe that people do act out of their own self interest and do indeed make plans.
If Oswald presumably made plans to kill the President, why can’t an oligarchy?
They can, and they do.
Now, given that both Oswald the lone nut and the oligarchy can both plan missions, doesn’t it a lot more sense that a sane focused oligarchy with experienced operatives would be more likely to plan a successful mission than a dysfunctional, wife-beating, surly, school-skipping, pen-knife wielding, premature-ejaculating (yes, he was accused of this) Oswald to whom has been attributed every psychological disease under the sun? (Officer of the Empire, Norman Mailer, even hinted that Oswald was gay. I’m not. what the relevance of that is; but at the time of Mailer’s writing, it was probably intended as a smear.) And, as a side commentary, Mailer also wielded a pen-knife, and yet no one accused him of him of anything more dastardly except nearly killing his wife. Oswald used his pen-knife in boyhood.
I’ll tell you what; if I’m in Vegas, I’m going to go with the oligarchy.
